A.M. Works was established in the year 2000 but my passion for Carpentry began long before that time.
During my high school years in the late 70’s, I worked for my Uncle and quickly learned the techniques of good solid construction. Learning Carpentry from an Old Master instilled within me the importance of a higher quality skill level. Framing was our specialty and the foundation of my skills in the trade, but in smaller communities you needed to learn all of the aspects of the building process.
After graduating with Honors with a 3 year Graphic Design diploma at Georgian College in 2000, I found myself being drawn back into carpentry, I guess you could say it’s in my blood. I took a Career leap of faith and started my own Company. With a few years in the trade in Barrie and Waterloo Region, I was contracted to work in a new development called Woodland Heights in Huntsville. After a couple years I decided to move to Huntsville in 2010, back to the area near where I grew up.

We guarantee that all work performed will be completed with the proper permits in place when necessary, and that all inspections be completed by the proper authorities.
All work is completed not only to meet code, but to exceed the Ontario Building Code. A.M. Works is fully insured for your protection, both with a $2,000,000 liability policy and also insured under W.S.I.B.
